Carnival:   The Advisernet Mixed Pairs carnival is scheduled for Monday 16 August 2010 and entries are now open.  Entry Fee is $20.00 per player and can be made by either phoning the club on 07 5506 8157 or posting to PO Box 167 Tweed Heads 2485 before Wednesday 11 August.   Limit is 40 teams and entry fee includes Morning Tea, Lunch, after game snacks and 3 games of bowls.  Total prize money is $1230.00

TWEED HEADS TOURERS

Due to a mix-up of dates the Byron Bay trip was cancelled late in the week and has been re-scheduled for this coming Sunday 1 August.  Note that the bus will depart the club at 7.45am sharp.

Last Sunday the Tourers held their Annual General Meeting followed by bowls and the winners for the morning were Francis Hewitt, Gary Hewitt and Frank McPhillips.

For the record all positions on the Tourers Committee remain the same.
