Another great day of bowls at Yallourn Bowling Club TRUenergy Classic Singles, despite the heavy rain and constant interruptions in the morning the afternoon weather improved allowing the bowls to be played in improving conditions. Tony Wood Clayton was unlucky to lose to Barrie Lester Moonee Ponds in a thriller to go down 25 - 24 as they played a high standard game with great draw bowling with some telling power shots. Wood had earlier beaten Frank Tonn Cohuna in a tight tussle. The semi finals see Gary Ball Moonee OPonds playing Graham Everett Mentone and the Victorian players Barrie Lester Moonee Ponds and Nathan Bush Geelong West doing battle.
